COURSE DESCRIPTION
The sports and entertainment industries are two of the most profitable in the United States. Marketing of sports and entertainment and marketing through sports and entertainment are the main focus of this class. Students will apply marketing principles to the sports industry and/or the entertainment industry. We will examine the economic impact of sports and entertainment as well as endorsements, sponsorships, product development, licensing, image, sales, promotion, pricing and more. Students will have the opportunity to explore careers and plan a sports and/or entertainment event.

Make-up Work
It is your responsibility to view the wiki page the day you return from an absence about make-up work. If you have questions and don’t understand an assignment it is your responsibility to ask questions. You have the number of days to submit missed work equivalent to your absence. The maximum number of days you have to submit missed work is 5 school days.
